v68.0.1

Hourly Rose, Codes + Rewards

Live Rose and gift-code data now refreshes hourly without rolling back, and linked accounts receive repeated server-side safe reward checks.

  • Lucky Rose now checks LastZ.GG hourly, accepts only the current Central-time game week, and never falls back to a hardcoded older number.
  • Reported-active gift codes now synchronize as an exact verified list instead of merging expired historical codes back into the catalog.
  • Automatic safe rewards are checked throughout the day by the hourly PHP cron without requiring a return visit.
  • Automatic new-code redemption runs hourly from Sunday 8:00 PM through Monday 8:00 PM Central time.
  • Legacy cache and correction data is invalidated automatically while accounts, configuration, storage, uploads, research and saved member progress remain unchanged.
v68.0.0

Official Link UID + Rewards

Link UID and Rewards v1.6 are now native parts of the main website, including protected profile sync, State alliances, and forum leadership badges.

  • Added official Link UID authorization to existing website member accounts, with encrypted server-side authorization storage.
  • Imported matching official Commander name, State, alliance abbreviation, HQ, power, and kills as read-only values with immediate and weekly synchronization.
  • Integrated Rewards v1.6 status, safe zero-cost claims, and automatic historical plus Sunday/Monday gift-code processing without Node.js.
  • Automatically creates or reuses State alliances, with one website R5 and no more than eight website R4 positions.
  • Added State, alliance abbreviation, and matching R5/R4 badges beside forum names while preserving research, heroes, equipment, formations, accounts, and existing data.
  • Strengthened protected-directory, cross-origin, source-artifact, provenance, and deployment-license safeguards.
v65.4

Artemis Discord Visual Guide

A new screenshot-based Artemis beginner guide is now available in the forum, making it easier for members to connect their account and use Artemis in Discord.

  • Added a complete visual Artemis Discord App beginner guide to the forum using real mobile screenshots from the live app.
  • The guide covers /start, account linking and unlinking, /help, Commander profile and progress cards, research, formation, gift codes, alliances, Artemis AI, /ping, and server admin
  • New members are directed to the existing website Commander onboarding instead of duplicating the onboarding process inside the guide.
  • Added an Artemis Discord Guides forum category with the official beginner guide pinned for easy access.
  • Cleaned obsolete /heroes Discord-command references so the website guide matches the intended Artemis command set.
v65.3

Strongest Available Formation Fix

Strongest Available now chooses the five strongest heroes first and treats front/back tags as placement guidance rather than a hard roster gate.

  • Fixed Build Strongest Available so front/back position tags no longer decide which five heroes make the roster.
  • The builder now selects the five strongest eligible Orange/Mythic combat heroes first, using the existing saved strength score, then fills from lower rarity only when fewer than fi
  • After the five strongest heroes are selected, the builder arranges two front and three back positions for the best total row fit instead of replacing a stronger hero with a weaker
  • This specifically prevents Purple Miranda from displacing a stronger owned Orange Katrina solely because Miranda is tagged Front and Katrina is tagged Back.
  • Preserved v65.2 Commander Details detection, Tank / Destroyer Intelligence, Artemis data coverage, Age of Steel naming, canonical T10 status, and all existing Artemis systems.
v65.2

Commander Details Detection Fix

The Universal Account Scanner now recognizes the Commander Details popup before generic OCR rules can misclassify Structure Power as Hero or Total Power.

  • Fixed automatic detection for the Last Z Commander Details popup when the global OCR pass reads only the Details header.
  • Commander Details now takes priority over generic Research, Hero, and Vehicle classification for that screenshot layout.
  • Total Power is read from the large power value beside the Commander name, while Structure, Tech, Troop, Hero, and Mod Vehicle Power remain separate breakdown values.
  • Prevented Structure Power from being rendered as Hero Power when the generic Power regex sees the breakdown table.
  • Preserved v65 Tank / Destroyer Intelligence, Artemis data coverage, Age of Steel naming, canonical T10 status, and the Strongest Available lineup fix.
v65.1

Commander Details Scanner Fix

Commander Details screenshots now map the large Commander power and each visible power breakdown to the correct fields instead of confusing Structure Power with Total Power.

  • Fixed the Commander Details screenshot reader so Structure Power can no longer overwrite Total Power.
  • Added a dedicated Last Z Commander Details layout reader that takes Total Power from the large power value beside the Commander name.
  • Commander Details scans now map Hero Power, Troop Power, Tech / Research Power, Mod Vehicle Power, and Kills into their correct member-managed fields.
  • The power-breakdown rows are read independently, so Structure Power remains a breakdown value rather than being treated as overall Commander power.
  • Preserved v65 Tank / Destroyer Intelligence, Artemis data coverage, Age of Steel correction, canonical T10 status, and the Strongest Available lineup fix.
v65

Commander Data Expansion

Tank / Destroyer Intelligence is now connected to the Commander Profile and Artemis, with data-coverage visibility, corrected Age of Steel naming, canonical T10 status, and a stronger hero-lineup builder.

  • Added Tank / Destroyer Intelligence to the Universal Account Scanner, including Tank Upgrade, Exterior Module, and Tactical Plugin screen detection.
  • Tank scans can now save vehicle name, tank level, tank power, Master Modifier percentage, ATK/DEF and next values, upgrade resources, exterior-module progress, and tactical-plugin
  • Connected Tank Intelligence to Artemis so tank-specific questions and Commander-wide analysis can use Master Modifier, modules, plugins, tank power, and upgrade signals instead of
  • Added a Commander Profile Tank / Destroyer Intelligence panel plus a What Artemis Can See inspector that reports which Commander data sources are available, partial, optional, or m
  • Corrected the research branch name to Age of Steel throughout the active website and Artemis context. Existing progress stored under the incorrect website label is migrated into Ag
  • Canonicalized T10 status so Unit Special Training at 100% means T10 Complete and is no longer presented to Artemis as a second independent progression signal.
  • Updated Build Strongest Available so eligible Orange/Mythic combat heroes are prioritized before Purple heroes, then ranked by tier, saved power, stars, level, role, and formation
  • Added deterministic Artemis Tank Intelligence answers so a saved Master Modifier percentage remains useful even when an external AI model is unavailable.
  • Preserved v64.1 Gift Code Intelligence, v64 Artemis Agent + Memory, Commander Intelligence, multi-screen Hero Intelligence, AI Council routing, and existing account/security system
v64.1

Gift Code Intelligence

Gift codes now merge multiple live sources instead of letting one older active list hide newer reported-redeemable codes.

  • Fixed Gift Code Intelligence so one non-empty source can no longer replace newer codes still reported redeemable by another trusted source.
  • Added Z Tools Gift Codes as a third live source alongside Last Z Rewards and Last Z Guides.
  • Gift-code reports are now merged and deduplicated, with the newest-first Z Tools active list leading the display and additional unique active reports appended safely.
  • Removed the expired 325KONGRATULATIONS code from the emergency static fallback list.
  • Preserved the last-successful live cache so a temporary source outage does not erase a previously good code list.
  • Updated the Gift Codes source note so members can see that the displayed list is a merged reported-active view and community sources can disagree when limited codes expire.
  • Preserved v64 Artemis Agent + Memory, Commander Intelligence 2.0, screenshot intelligence, AI Council routing, and all existing member systems.
v64

Artemis Agent + Memory

Artemis can now remember Commander strategy, continue prior recommendations, and route optional external tools through permission-controlled Composio sessions.

  • Added persistent Artemis Commander memory for useful Last Z goals, priorities, plans, decisions, and strategy notes without storing unrelated chat noise.
  • Added Artemis recommendation history so Commander analysis can continue from recent strategic advice instead of starting from zero each visit.
  • Added the member-facing Artemis Agent Center where Commanders can view, add, complete, archive, or delete strategy memories and review previous recommendations.
  • Connected persistent memory to the Artemis Context Builder so relevant goals and recent recommendations can be included only when they help the current question.
  • Added Composio per-member session support with an administrator toolkit allowlist. Composio remains optional and Artemis still works without it.
  • Added permission-controlled external action planning: read-only retrieval, approval-required writes, and a permanent block on destructive automatic actions.
  • Added Composio service connection links and an action queue so members can connect an approved toolkit, review planned writes, approve or reject them, and see execution status.
  • Added safe tool-argument planning that refuses to invent missing recipients, repositories, channels, dates, or other required action details.
  • Added an admin-only Artemis Agent Activity dashboard plus memory retention, toolkit allowlist, read-only execution, and action-permission controls inside AI Council settings.
  • Preserved v63 Commander Intelligence 2.0, v62.3 multi-screen Hero Intelligence, the AI Council router/fallback chain, OpenRouter/Groq keys, and all existing profile/security system
v63

Commander Intelligence 2.0

The Commander Profile is now a connected command center for Artemis strategy, data confidence, hero intelligence, research priorities, scan freshness, alerts, and growth history.

  • Upgraded the existing Commander Profile into Commander Intelligence 2.0 without removing the editable profile, UID linking, formations, planner progress, account controls, or exist
  • Added a Commander Command Center with readiness, data confidence, calculated main-formation power, and the current Artemis strategy objective at a glance.
  • Added a shared Artemis Strategy Roadmap that surfaces the top saved #1, #2, and #3 objectives with direct links to the relevant website tools.
  • Added Commander data-health alerts for suspicious hero-power outliers, incomplete main-formation equipment coverage, thin research records, and overall data-confidence status.
  • Added rich Hero Intelligence cards powered by the v62.3 multi-screen scanner, including level, power, stars, ATK, DEF, troop capacity, Hall of Honor status, detailed L/P/M equipmen
  • Added Research Intelligence cards that surface Artemis research candidates and saved branch progress directly inside the Commander command center.
  • Added Recent Hero Scans so Commanders can see which hero records were refreshed most recently and keep Artemis working from current data.
  • Added a Commander Growth Timeline using the existing Operations growth snapshots so recent power progression is visible without replacing the current Operations system.
  • Added safe rich-response rendering for Artemis headings, emphasis, lists, inline code, and comparison tables so AI Council answers no longer expose raw Markdown syntax on mobile.
  • Added Commander-data validation warnings to Artemis external-model context and stronger evidence rules that separate current hero strength from estimated next-upgrade return instea
v62.3

Multi-Screen Hero Intelligence

Hero Detail, Star Up, and Skill screenshots now merge into one richer Commander hero record for Artemis and the Commander Profile.

  • Expanded the Universal Account Scanner into a multi-screen Hero Intelligence system that merges Hero Detail, Star Up, and Skill screenshots into the same saved hero record.
  • Corrected the Hero Detail equipment mapping: filled diamonds are stored as Promotion Level, while the visible +N value is stored as Mythic Level.
  • Added Star Up screen detection for hero power, hero stars, Hero ATK, Hero DEF, Troop Capacity, next-star projected stats, and Hall of Honor status.
  • Added Skill screen detection for the selected skill name, current/max level, skill type, maximum-level status, and a bounded skill-description record.
  • Hero scans update only fields visible on that screenshot and preserve existing equipment, stars, skills, and other good Commander data from prior scans.
  • Extended Artemis hero context so focused hero analysis can use saved combat stats, Hall of Honor status, scanned skill progression, and detailed equipment progression.
  • Preserved browser-private screenshot processing, review-first conflict protection, v62.2 Hero Detail power validation, and the v62.1 AI Council fallback architecture.
v62.2

Hero Detail Screenshot Intelligence

The account scanner now understands the actual Last Z Hero Detail layout, including hero power and per-slot equipment progression, with conflict protection before bad data reaches Artemis.

  • Added a dedicated Last Z Hero Detail screenshot reader instead of relying on generic OCR labels that are not present on the game screen.
  • Hero Detail scans can now detect the hero name, hero level, hero power, and the four visible equipment slots from the fixed Last Z layout.
  • Equipment scans now capture each visible slot separately: Gun, Helmet, Armor, and Boots, including equipment level and promotion level.
  • Added Mythic Level tracking to standard hero equipment. The scanner counts the visible filled mythic diamonds on each equipment card and the Equipment Manager now stores and displa
  • Hero stars remain intentionally separate because they are shown on a different Last Z screen and are not guessed from the Hero Detail screen.
  • High-confidence Hero Detail values can still populate the member-managed Commander data, while large conflicts such as a 54M saved power versus a 5.5M screenshot are stopped for re
  • Added clear screenshot conflict warnings that show both the existing saved value and the newly detected value before the member applies the update.
  • Preserved private browser-only image processing: screenshots and raw OCR text are not uploaded to Artemis or stored on the server.
  • Preserved the v62.1 AI Council routing, model cooldowns, OpenRouter/Groq fallback chain, Commander Intelligence, and Composio-ready foundation.
v62.1

Artemis Router Polish

Artemis now routes comparisons more precisely, abandons slow models faster, cools down failing routes, and keeps intelligence answers front and center.

  • Specific strategy topics now outrank generic comparison language, so hero comparisons route to Hero Analysis, research comparisons to Research Analysis, formation comparisons to Fo
  • Nemotron 3 Ultra now uses a 10-second deep-reasoning timeout instead of making Commanders wait close to 30 seconds for an unavailable free route.
  • Added temporary model cooldowns after timeouts, rate limits, provider outages, unavailable models, and reply-budget exhaustion so Artemis does not repeatedly hammer a failing route
  • Groq GPT-OSS reasoning fallbacks now receive a larger response budget and forced low reasoning effort so they are more likely to produce a final user-visible answer.
  • Provider diagnostics now distinguish timeout, rate limiting, authentication, model unavailability, provider outage, request rejection, empty output, and reply-budget exhaustion ins
  • Commander Setup automatically collapses to a compact readiness card at 95% or higher while keeping the full guided setup available on demand.
  • After an intelligence answer, Artemis keeps the successful response in view instead of auto-scrolling the Commander Setup panel over the answer.
  • Preserved the v62 AI Council, Context Builder, OpenRouter/Groq fallback chain, Commander Intelligence, and Composio-ready Tool Router foundation.
v62

Artemis AI Council & Model Router

Artemis can now classify tasks, build focused Commander context, choose the best configured model, and fail over automatically while remaining one unified Last Z assistant.

  • Introduced the Artemis AI Council and modular task-aware Model Router while preserving the existing Artemis personality, Commander Intelligence, OpenRouter, and Groq systems.
  • Added task classification for general chat, Commander analysis, heroes, formations, equipment, research, strategy comparison, screenshots/data extraction, Last Z knowledge, and fut
  • Deep reasoning now prefers the configurable NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra free model through OpenRouter, with automatic fallback to the next enabled model/provider when the preferred rou
  • Added separate configurable model profiles for fast chat, deep reasoning, vision/screenshot work, and tool planning, plus an ordered fallback list.
  • Added the Artemis Context Builder so external AI requests receive only task-relevant Commander gameplay data instead of the full profile on every request.
  • Commander identity fields are excluded from external-model context by default; Artemis never sends account passwords, email, UID, IP/session data, API keys, or account-security inf
  • Added server-side routing diagnostics with task classification, selected provider/model, selection reason, context sources, fallback index, response time, token counts, and success
  • Added 24-hour model health reporting and expanded usage/fallback logging without caching personal Commander responses across accounts.
  • Added a Composio-ready Tool Router foundation with encrypted API-key storage, connection testing, read-only / approval-required / automatic permission modes, and a hard never-autom
  • External Composio actions remain intentionally disabled in this foundation release; the next agent phase can add connected services and approvals after v62 is tested stable.
v61.1

Meet Artemis: Your Personal Last Z Command AI

Artemis is the intelligent assistant built directly into the Last Z Ultimate Guide. He can use the gameplay information saved to a Commander Profile to help members decide what to work on next, prioritize research, evaluate hero investments, review formations, track equipment progress, guide new members through setup, and answer Last Z questions.

  • Artemis is a futuristic AI command assistant designed specifically for the Last Z Ultimate Guide.
  • He is not just a standard chatbot. Artemis is connected to the website's Commander Profile system, allowing him to use saved gameplay information such as HQ level, season, heroes,
  • Members can ask Artemis questions such as:
  • What should I work on next?
  • Which research should I focus on?
  • What hero should I upgrade next?
  • How is my formation?
  • What equipment should I improve?
  • Artemis can identify missing gameplay information, rank priorities, explain why an objective is important, and direct the Commander to the correct tool on the website.
  • For new members, Artemis also acts as a guided onboarding assistant. He can introduce himself after signup, show the member where to begin, guide them through building their Comman
v61

Artemis Strategy Engine

Artemis now unifies onboarding with deeper account strategy for heroes, formations, equipment, and research.

  • Unified Artemis onboarding and strategy so the setup panel and “What should I work on next?” no longer point the commander in different directions.
  • Screenshot scanning is now an optional refresh tool rather than a required setup step, so manually completed profiles can reach full calibration.
  • Equipment setup is marked complete only when every saved main-formation hero has an equipment record; partial coverage now shows a percentage instead of a misleading Done state.
  • Added the Artemis Strategy Engine: research priorities now score HQ stage, formation faction/troop path, foundational gaps, late-game value, and recorded completion instead of simp
  • Added a strategy catalog from the site hero database so hero-upgrade advice can consider tier, role, investment priority, faction, and recorded development gaps in the commander’s
  • Formation analysis now checks dominant faction, support-only heroes, front/back role alignment, and the saved formation score before ranking resource investments.
  • When a small calibration gap remains, Artemis can still show provisional #2/#3 strategy priorities underneath the required #1 data fix instead of withholding every recommendation.
  • Reduced duplicate chat text on the website: the short summary introduces the plan and the visual #1/#2/#3 cards carry the detailed reasons.
  • The Commander Intelligence panel now changes from setup mode to a live Next Objective card after calibration, using the same strategy plan as Artemis chat.
  • Preserved the working PHP 8.2 authentication, database connection, encrypted OpenRouter/Groq key storage, provider tests, and fallback routing from the stable v59.1.3/v60 branch.
v60

Artemis Intelligence

Artemis now turns saved Commander Profile data into direct, ranked next objectives instead of generic follow-up questions.

  • Artemis now has a deterministic profile-intelligence engine for “What should I work on next?” instead of handing the question to an external model and hoping for a useful priority.
  • The signed-in commander receives one clear #1 objective plus #2 and #3 when the saved data supports them, with direct links to the exact website tools needed for each step.
  • Artemis ranks missing core profile data first when the account is not calibrated, then evaluates the saved main formation, equipment readiness, research progress, formation score,
  • Research-priority questions now use the member’s recorded branch percentages and the site’s published research-path information instead of generic AI advice.
  • Hero-priority questions can compare the recorded stats of heroes in the saved main formation and identify the largest recorded stat gap while clearly warning when role/build contex
  • Profile-intelligence answers work even if OpenRouter and Groq are temporarily unavailable; external AI remains available for broader Last Z questions and explanations.
  • Cleaned provider output so literal newline artifacts and the stray leading “n” seen in some model replies no longer appear in the Artemis chat.
  • Added visual #1/#2/#3 objective cards in Artemis chat and bumped Artemis assets to v60 so browsers load the intelligence update immediately.
  • The stable v59.1.3 login, PHP 8.2 database path, encrypted API-key storage, OpenRouter primary connection, and Groq fallback connection remain unchanged.
v59.1.3

Artemis Provider Response Fix

OpenRouter and Groq can now complete their connection tests correctly with reasoning-capable models.

  • Fixed OpenRouter and Groq tests reporting an empty reply after the API key had actually been saved.
  • Provider test requests now allow enough completion budget for modern reasoning models to produce final text.
  • Groq GPT-OSS requests use low reasoning effort and keep reasoning out of the returned Artemis reply.
  • OpenRouter free-router tests keep reasoning light so randomly selected reasoning models do not consume the whole test response.
  • Artemis now distinguishes a real provider connection from a response that contains no final text.
  • No login, database connection, or API-key persistence logic was changed in this focused hotfix.
v59.1.2

Artemis Save & Test Fix

Provider setup is now one tap: save the entered API key and immediately test the stored provider.

  • Fixed the Artemis provider controls on mobile so typing a key and tapping the provider button no longer tests an empty previously-saved value.
  • OpenRouter and Groq now each have a Save & Test button that stores the entered key first and immediately tests that same provider.
  • Provider test results now distinguish between a key that failed to store and a key that stored successfully but failed the external connection test.
  • The existing encrypted database, site-settings, and protected-file storage fallbacks remain unchanged.
v59.1.1

Artemis Key Storage Hotfix

Artemis API keys now have an independent encrypted secure-file fallback for reliable persistence on shared hosting.

  • Artemis provider keys now have a third encrypted persistence path under the protected server storage directory.
  • The secure-file fallback is independent of the Artemis secrets table, preventing shared-hosting database quirks from making a saved key disappear.
  • OpenRouter and Groq keys are verified immediately after save and the admin screen shows which secure storage path is active.
  • This hotfix is based directly on the stable v59.1 code and does not change login, database connection, or public-site startup behavior.
v59.5

Login Core Recovery

A focused authentication repair makes the credential-to-session handoff independent from optional site systems and shared-hosting timing.

  • Rebuilt the successful sign-in request around the core users table and PHP session only.
  • Authenticated sessions are explicitly committed before redirecting, preventing shared-hosting session races.
  • The login form now includes its CSRF token directly instead of depending on JavaScript to inject it before submission.
  • Optional Artemis, audit, session-history, and password-reset metadata no longer run inside the successful login request.
  • Any remaining host-specific login exception is contained on the sign-in page with a safe stage code instead of Page Could Not Load.
v59.4

Signed-In Bootstrap Recovery

A focused reliability hotfix isolates login and normal page loading from optional database/security subsystems on shared hosting.

  • Removed optional security-schema work from the critical signed-in page bootstrap.
  • Login throttling and audit-history failures can no longer replace a valid sign-in with Page Could Not Load.
  • Core authentication now depends only on the users table; auxiliary session/audit features fail independently.
  • Page enhancements such as SEO, translation, member-access UI, release tools, and Artemis are isolated so one enhancement cannot take down the page.
  • Added a last-resort root homepage fail-safe so the command center remains reachable even if an optional subsystem throws.
v59.3

Signed-In Session Recovery

A login-path hotfix keeps valid member authentication working even when optional shared-hosting database helpers have a temporary fault.

  • Fixed the signed-in login path falling into Page Could Not Load after valid credentials.
  • Successful authentication now completes even if optional session-history, audit-log, or member-metadata tables temporarily fail.
  • Core member identity is now separated from optional security-history lookups so an authenticated account is not mistaken for a guest.
  • New-account registration received the same protection so Artemis onboarding can start even if an auxiliary table is temporarily unavailable.
  • The v59.1 Artemis API-key persistence fix and v59.2 public-homepage availability hardening remain included.
v59.1

Artemis API Key Persistence Fix

A focused hotfix makes OpenRouter and Groq key storage resilient and verifiable on shared hosting.

  • Fixed Artemis API keys failing to remain configured after saving on some shared-hosting environments.
  • API keys are now encrypted and written to a redundant site-settings fallback in addition to the dedicated secrets table.
  • Every newly saved provider key is immediately read back and verified before Artemis reports success.
  • Admin now clearly shows Stored securely with a masked key when persistence succeeds, instead of relying on the blank password field.
  • Provider-save failures now produce a visible admin error instead of silently appearing to save.
v59

Artemis Takes the Forum

Artemis now has an official forum presence and automatically keeps members informed about the latest Last Z Ultimate Guide releases.

  • Artemis now has an official forum identity: Artemis • System Assistant.
  • Added the Artemis Updates forum channel for official site news and system messages.
  • Artemis publishes a one-time introduction post explaining who he is and how he helps members.
  • Recent v57, v58, and v59 website updates are automatically published as Artemis forum posts.
  • Future published release announcements can automatically become Artemis forum update posts without creating duplicates.
  • The newest Artemis release report stays pinned beside his introduction so members can quickly see the latest site changes.
v58

Artemis Awakens

Artemis has evolved into an animated futuristic guide robot with persistent first-login onboarding and profile-aware next-step coaching.

  • Artemis now appears as a larger futuristic hovering robot with white/gunmetal armor, cyan and violet lighting, animated eyes, hover rings, particles, and subtle movement inspired b
  • New members still activate Artemis immediately after registration, but onboarding is now a true guided flow with a clear Start Here card and the exact next unfinished setup step.
  • Guided setup continues across page changes and can resume on later visits from saved profile progress instead of restarting from the beginning.
  • Members can Continue, Skip for now, or choose Don’t show tutorial again without disabling Artemis itself. Guided setup can be restarted from the Artemis panel at any time.
  • Artemis now gives a deterministic built-in next-step answer from the member’s saved profile even when OpenRouter or Groq is unavailable.
  • The chat panel docks beside Artemis on desktop to better match the approved assistant concept while keeping lower-right utility controls clear.
  • Fresh v58 Artemis assets are forced so browsers load the new robot and onboarding behavior immediately.
v57

Meet Artemis

Artemis has arrived as your Last Z specialist, and this release also repairs the floating controls and crowded desktop navigation.

  • Meet Artemis, the new Last Z-only assistant built into the Ultimate Guide. Artemis can help members navigate tools, finish setup, and answer Last Z questions.
  • Moved Artemis into a dedicated upper-right position so the robot no longer covers Support the Network or the theme selector.
  • Made the Artemis chat panel resize to the available desktop height instead of being pushed off the top of shorter screens.
  • Fixed the desktop header so Dashboard and the other navigation links switch to the compact menu before they can overlap the Last Z Ultimate Guide brand.
  • Forced fresh Artemis and launch assets so browsers do not keep displaying older cached positioning or release-popup code.
  • Commander and gameplay stats remain member-managed. Screenshot imports can fill values, and members can correct them without administrator approval.
v55

Member-Managed Stats

Screenshot imports and Commander stats are now controlled by the member, with no administrator approval step.

  • Retired administrator approval for Commander Profile and gameplay statistics. Members now control their own current values.
  • Universal Account Scanner selections now write directly to the member-managed profile after the player reviews or edits the detected values.
  • Commander name, server, alliance, HQ, faction, total power, hero power, troop power, research power, vehicle power, kills, and highest troop tier can be corrected by the member at
  • Added a migration-safe member_stats record. Existing legacy verified values are copied forward once without dropping legacy tables or losing history.
  • Artemis, Discord-safe profile helpers, alliance recruitment, and Growth Timeline now read the member-managed values instead of an administrator-verified snapshot.
  • Removed the active Commander/stat review queues from the member and administrator experience. Forum/community moderation and account-security verification remain unchanged.
  • Screenshot OCR remains review-first: players can correct a bad read before Apply, and can edit the saved value later from Commander Profile.
v54

Artemis Genesis

Artemis is now the Last Z Ultimate Guide assistant, with guided member setup, secure AI-provider controls, universal screenshot-import groundwork, and shared website/Discord context.

  • Introduced Artemis, a Last Z-only assistant with a floating robot launcher and mobile-safe chat panel.
  • New accounts activate Artemis automatically so it can guide members through profile, heroes, formation, equipment, research, alliance, and screenshot setup.
  • Added secure Admin → Artemis controls for OpenRouter and Groq keys, primary/fallback models, usage limits, budget controls, and an external-AI provider kill switch.
  • API keys are encrypted server-side and never exposed to browser JavaScript or member pages.
  • Added shared Artemis member-context helpers so the separate Discord bot can use the same approved Last Z knowledge and privacy rules later.
  • Upgraded Screenshot Import into a Universal Account Scanner with broader screen detection, confidence indicators, multi-image merging, and account-wide routing.
  • Artemis can still answer common Last Z guide/navigation questions using built-in website knowledge when no AI provider is configured.
  • Preserved Discord profile privacy, alliance/recruitment security, v52 Research OCR improvements, and v53 onboarding deep links.
v53

Member Setup Navigation Hotfix

New-member setup now sends players directly to the correct private planner controls, including Hero Stats & Ownership.

  • Fixed the new-member “Mark owned heroes” step so it opens Formation Lab directly at Hero Stats & Ownership instead of the public hero roster.
  • Added direct onboarding links for HQ Planner, Formation Lab, and Research Command so setup steps land on the tool members actually need.
  • Added safe tool deep-link handling through the existing home page without creating new authentication or account flows.
  • Preserved the v52 private multi-screenshot Research reader and all existing account, Discord-readiness, alliance, recruitment, and security features.
v52

Research Screenshot Reader Hotfix

The Screenshot Importer now reads Last Z Techs screens much more reliably, including MAX cards, percentage progress, and overlapping screenshots.

  • Fixed the Techs / Research screenshot reader so it maps the visible three-column research grid instead of relying only on raw OCR text.
  • MAX research cards are now imported as 100% complete.
  • Improved percentage recognition for Field Research, Army Building, Fully Armed Alliance, Age of Steel, and other progress cards.
  • Added common OCR-name correction for shortened or distorted research labels.
  • Members can now import up to four overlapping research screenshots in one batch and review the merged results before applying them.
  • Screenshots continue to stay in the browser and are not uploaded or stored in account sync.
v51

Discord Website Readiness & Recruitment Upgrade

Website-side Discord privacy, profile-card preferences, avatars, safer alliance recruiting, and ownership protections are ready for the separate Discord app.

  • Added member Discord profile-card privacy and style controls for Apex, Tactical, Neon, and Intel.
  • Added secure website profile avatars with avatar sharing OFF by default.
  • Added administrator Discord-card policy controls and a protected placeholder avatar.
  • Added an internal Discord-safe member profile helper that applies member privacy and admin restrictions to live database values.
  • Added alliance-specific custom application questions and private recruiter/admin answers.
  • Strengthened R5 ownership transfer and alliance movement transactions.
v50

Alliance Recruitment & Discord Foundation

Alliance recruiting, administrator assignment controls, and the secure foundation for the Last Z Discord bot are now built into the website.

  • Added the Alliance Directory with member applications and recruitment requirements.
  • R4 and R5 leaders can open Recruitment Command and review alliance applications.
  • Administrators can create alliance records, move members between alliances, and assign R4/R5 roles with a transfer audit log.
  • Added secure Discord account-linking groundwork and an HTTPS interactions endpoint for slash commands.
  • Added Discord commands for profile, heroes, formation, progress, alliances, applications, linking, and unlinking.
  • Added Discord connection status to Account & Security and Discord setup controls to Admin.
v49

Mobile Stability Hotfix

This urgent update prevents the homepage from becoming unresponsive on mobile browsers.

  • Fixed a mobile browser freeze caused by the new menu account-link watcher.
  • Mobile site controls remain safely inside the hamburger menu.
  • Reduced unnecessary page mutations to improve phone responsiveness.
  • Updated cache versions so phones receive the repaired script immediately.
v48

Mobile-First Controls & Release Updates

The site is now cleaner and easier to use on phones, with release notes that appear once for each new version.

  • Mobile controls moved into the hamburger menu so they no longer cover tools.
  • Language, theme, feedback, support, and account actions are easier to reach on phones.
  • A one-time What’s New popup now explains each release.
  • Members see release announcements once per account; guests see them once per browser.
  • A permanent What’s New archive lets players review past updates.
