Keep for training and account utility rather than active combat.
William is tracked as a Support only Guard of Order hero with a Training utility role. Pair the hero with Rider troops when building around the faction’s intended troop type, then compare the slot against the heroes you actually own and have developed.
Most of this hero’s long-term value comes from utility rather than main-formation damage. Build only far enough to unlock or strengthen the useful account effect.
This hero belongs to the base roster in Last Z Hub. Base heroes can remain valuable after seasonal replacements arrive when they provide frontline stability, training, construction, gathering, or other account-wide utility.

Utility heroes usually do not need your best combat gear. Keep enough investment to preserve the useful account effect, then reserve premium equipment for the five heroes doing the most combat work.
William can keep value after leaving the main march because the listed role includes account utility. Replacement in combat does not automatically mean the hero should be ignored everywhere else.
Compare formation position, faction synergy, troop type, current stars, skill investment, equipment readiness, and the next available seasonal replacement. Do not spend universal materials only because a community tier label is high.
